While there is nothing inherently wrong with this Al Franken documentary, it is mostly all "so-what" tame and feels rather insignificant as if God has decided not to speak to anybody after all. As it played out, I failed to see 'Al Franken - God Spoke' do anything in a new , unusual or risky manner as it played every hand it had been dealt in the safest of ways.

Franken is, quite simply, too nice. He has humor and truth on his side but very little muscle to counter the lies snakes like Rush Limbaugh are pushing everyday onto their audience ...
