Gaither High School was named in honor of a long-time Hillsborough County educator, Mr. Vivian Gaither. Mr. Gaither began his career in education as a teacher in a private boy’s school.
Gaither High School has a Diversified Cooperative On-the-Job Training (OJT) program in which students apply skills learned in their Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses in a work setting. Employers are welcome to send their employment opportunities to our OJT teacher @ janice.klages@hcps.net to share with the students.
Gaither High School is a public high school located in the Northdale area of Hillsborough County, Florida. It opened in 1984 and is located on 16200 North Dale Mabry Highway. Bloomingdale High School, located in Valrico, Florida, was built around the same time and has the same architectural design.
