Julian Carey Dixon (August 8, 1934 – December 8, 2000) was an American Democratic politician from California who was a member of the California State Assembly from 1973 to 1978 and then a member of the United States House of Representatives from 1979 until his death.

Julian Dixon served as chair of the Southern California Legislative Black Caucus and the California Congress of Black Elected Officials. His legislative agenda focused on juvenile justice issues and correctional system reforms. Julian Dixon also fought for equal access for women and minorities in business and professional services.
