24 juin 2023 · Established in 1991, the Carriers and Locals Society is a not-for-profit association of people interested in the carriers, local posts, independent mails and Eastern expresses of the 19th century, their stamps and postal history.
It’s not hard to find local and carrier stamps at stamp bourses, on the Internet via eBay or through one of the many commercial sites, in auctions, in group lots, etc. But it is hard to decide whether to collect them, how to collect them, and how to find more information about them.

(Reduced sizes) The above stamps with inscription 'ARMY FRANK OFFICIAL BUSINESS ONLY', are bogus issues. They were made by a certain Major Brewster Cox Kenyon in 1898. Remainders were sold in 1903. They only exist in the colours blue, red and brown (as above shown).
The next stamp has the inscription 'COLLEGE STAMP', I have no further information about its origins:
