TripAdvisor has plenty of posts about FareBoom. That site is a magnet for complaints about air travel, an activity where people get upset anyhow.

Had flights canceled due to COVID in 2020, received a 'travel voucher' to apply for new flights and when we went to use them, Fareboom jacked the price more than $500.00 a ticket above the published rate! Over the next 6 weeks and 20 emails, including with BBB (their "AAA+" rating is BS ...
Avoid fareboom they tend to be a legit scammer. I mean when you buy flight tickets you got no issue but when you change your mind or something happens they charge you unnecessary fees that is close to the price you paid your flight ticket. It bloxes!. Avoid if you can. Peace out
