18 avr. 2019 · Airlines that offer discounted for bereavement flights include Delta Airlines, Air Canada, Lufthansa, and WestJet. These all require that the passenger is an immediate family member, and is able to provide details of the person who has passed on, as well as of the funeral arrangements.
Compassionate fares are 50% discounted from the fully flexible fare “Fly Flex +”, a discount applied to the total fare price (i.e also inclusive of taxes). Travel covered under critical medical situations must commence within 48 hours, and within seven days of booking if travelling for bereavement, or visiting an in-patient.
9 avr. 2024 · First, call Air Canada toll-free at 1-888-247-2262 to book a future flight with a family emergency fare. Only the Basic Economy, Standard, Flex Economy, Comfort and Latitude fares are available. The trip must be taken within 10 days of booking and for a maximum of 60 days.
