Adam Clayton, né le 13 mars 1960 à Chinnor (Royaume-Uni), est un auteur-compositeur et musicien irlandais. Il est le bassiste du groupe irlandais U2, depuis 1976. Il a gardé sa nationalité britannique bien qu'il réside à Dublin depuis l'âge de cinq ans. Il est décrit comme étant le plus « smart » du groupe par Bono.

Adam Charles Clayton (born 13 March 1960) is a British-Irish musician who is the bass guitarist of the rock band U2. He has resided in County Dublin , Ireland since his family moved to Malahide in 1965, when he was five years old.
