Les Native Tongues, aussi connu comme le Native Tongues Posse, sont un collectif de hip-hop américain de la fin des années 1980 et début des années 1990. Ses principaux membres sont les Jungle Brothers, De La Soul et A Tribe Called Quest, avec la présence notable de Queen Latifah et Monie Love.

19 nov. 2018 · As Tip said in Beats, Rhymes, and Life, the Native Tongues were about an“ awareness and identity coming out of the hood and being able to present ideas that were lofty.” Those ideas lifted the collective’s individual groups and members and rap music into a different stratosphere.
