Joseph Samuel Nye, Jr. dit Joe Nye, né le 19 janvier 1937 à South Orange, est un analyste et théoricien des relations internationales. Il est professeur émérite à l'université Harvard. Il est président du groupe nord-américain au sein de la Commission trilatérale depuis 2009 [1].

Joseph Samuel Nye Jr. (born January 19, 1937) is an American political scientist. He and Robert Keohane co-founded the international relations theory of neoliberalism, which they developed in their 1977 book Power and Interdependence. Together with Keohane, he developed the concepts of asymmetrical and complex interdependence.
Joseph S. Nye Jr., University Distinguished Service Professor, Emeritus and former Dean of the Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. He received his bachelor's degree summa cum laude from Princeton University,won a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford University, and earned a PhD in political science from Harvard.
