Kristalina Ivanova Georgieva-Kinova (Bulgarian: Кристалина Иванова Георгиева-Кинова; née Georgieva; born 13 August 1953) is a Bulgarian economist serving as the 12th managing director of the International Monetary Fund since 2019.
Kristalina Georgieva est la directrice générale du Fonds monétaire international depuis octobre 2019. Ancienne directrice générale de la Banque mondiale, elle a occupé des fonctions clés dans l'Union européenne, la Commission mondiale sur l'adaptation au changement climatique et la Banque mondiale.
12 avr. 2024 · Kristalina Georgieva a été nommée au poste de directrice générale du FMI le 25 septembre 2019. Elle a pris ses fonctions le 1 er octobre 2019. Le 12 avril 2024, le conseil d’administration du FMI a désigné Kristalina Georgieva pour un second mandat de cinq ans, à compter du 1er octobre 2024.
