The Music Explosion was an American garage rock band from Mansfield, Ohio, discovered and signed by record producers Jerry Kasenetz and Jeffry Katz. The quintet is best known for their number two hit, "Little Bit O' Soul". The single was given gold record status by the RIAA.
Ohio-based pop group that experienced meteoric, but short-lived pop success in 1967 with the hit song, Little Bit O' Soul. Members included Jamie Lyons (vocals, percussion), Don "Tudor" Atkins (lead guitar), Richard Nesta (guitar), Burton "Butch" Sahl (bass), and Dave Webster (drums).
