Yasushi Akutagawa (芥川 也寸志, Akutagawa Yasushi?), né le 12 juillet 1925 à Tokyo - décédé le 31 janvier 1989 à Tokyo [1]), est un compositeur et chef d'orchestre japonais. Il est né et a grandi à Tabata, Tokyo. Son père était l'écrivain Ryūnosuke Akutagawa.

29 mars 2023 · The Suntory Foundation for the Arts (Directors General: Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi and Shingo Torii) has announced the three works to be nominated for the 33rd (2022) Yasushi Akutagawa Suntory Award for Music Composition (previously the Akutagawa Award for Music Composition).
Yasushi Akutagawa Suntory Award for Music Composition. This prize was established in April 1990 with the support of the Japan Federation of Composers, and celebrates the achievements of the late Yasushi Akutagawa, who made significant contributions to the development of Western-style music in Japan in the post-war years.
