The University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law is the second oldest university-based common law Faculty in the Commonwealth. It is located in New Brunswick's capital city, Fredericton, and is one of two law schools located in the province, the other being the French-language Faculty at l'Université de Moncton.
We’ve stuck to first principles, requiring students to take a broad selection of courses in both public and private law. We’ve emphasized the basics of common law and legislation, analytical skills, legal writing, oral advocacy — things that never go out of style.

28 juin 2024 · UNB Law is excited to announce the appointments of two outstanding new faculty members, Bruno Gélinas-Faucher and Catherine Le Guerrier. Bruno Gélinas-Faucher joins UNB Law from the Université de Moncton, where he has been an Assistant Professor since 2022.
