Gottlieb Wilhelm Daimler (German: [ˈɡɔtliːp ˈdaɪmlɐ]; 17 March 1834 – 6 March 1900) was a German engineer, industrial designer and industrialist born in Schorndorf (Kingdom of Württemberg, a federal state of the German Confederation), in what is now Germany.
Gottlieb Wilhelm Daimler, geboren als Gottlieb Däumler, war ein deutscher Ingenieur, Konstrukteur, Unternehmer und Kommerzienrat. Daimler entwickelte zusammen mit Wilhelm Maybach den ersten schnelllaufenden Ottomotor und das erste vierrädrige Kraftfahrzeug mit Verbrennungsmotor.
Ingénieur allemand, né à Schorndorf (Wurtemberg) et mort à Cannstatt (aujourd'hui Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt), près de Stuttgart. D'abord ouvrier mécanicien, puis directeur des ateliers Otto, en Allemagne, Daimler est devenu un spécialiste du moteur.

18 déc. 2014 · Gottlieb Daimler was born in Schorndorf on March 17, 1834. In addition to the Latin School he attended technical drawing classes on Sundays. In 1848 Gottlieb Daimler began an apprenticeship as a gunmaker in Schorndorf, presumably with Master Wilke.
