Savatage est un groupe de heavy metal américain, originaire de Floride. Le groupe est formé en 1978 par les frères Jon et Criss Oliva . Après un premier album, Sirens (1983), le groupe signe chez Atlantic Records et enregistre deux albums, Power of the Night 1985 et Fight for the Rock (1986) qui rencontrent un succès mitigé.
