Robin Lumley (17 January 1948 – 9 March 2023) was a British jazz fusion musician, keyboardist, record producer, and author who was a member of the band Brand X with drummer Phil Collins, guitarist John Goodsall, and bassist Percy Jones.

Robin Lumley died on 9 March 2023 from heart failure. The official Brand X website has asserted that the only official legal members of Brand X since its reformation were original members Jones, Goodsall, and Lumley.

10 mars 2023 · Keyboardist Robin Lumley, a founding member of fusion band Brand X, has died on 9 March. Lumley worked with Phil Collins (among others) on various projects also outside Brand X. The sad news was published today by Percy Jones and the official Brand X website.
In 1982, a “posthumous” Is There Anything About? was compiled by Robin Lumley from studio outtakes but was described as “mostly rubbish” by the band members, including Lumley himself, as he looks back on it for this history of Brand X.
