The Specials est un groupe de musique britannique de ska formé en 1977 à Coventry (Angleterre) autour du claviériste Jerry Dammers . Carrière. Formé en 1977 par Jerry Dammers, Lynval Golding et Horace Panter, le groupe s'est d'abord nommé The Automatics puis The Coventry Automatics.
