McGuinn, Clark & Hillman were an American rock group consisting of Roger McGuinn, Gene Clark, and Chris Hillman, who were all former members of the band the Byrds. The group formed in 1977 and was partly modeled after Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and, to a lesser extent, the Eagles .

15 févr. 2024 · In 2018, Byrds co-founders Roger McGuinn and Chris Hillman teamed up with country star Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives for a 50th anniversary salute to the Byrds’ watershed 1968 album Sweetheart of the Rodeo, a work that helped usher in the whole genre of country-rock music.
L-R: Chris, Roger, and Gene The three former Byrds, signed to Capitol Records in 1978. They had success on the singles charts with Roger’s “Don’t You Write Her Off”, from their first album, “McGuinn, Clark & Hillman.
Following the departure of Gene Clark; Chris and Roger continued to perform in concert. They recorded one album, "McGuinn-Hillman".
5 juin 2018 · On the 50th anniversary of their groundbreaking album, Sweetheart of the Rodeo, Byrds co-founders, Roger McGuinn and Chris Hillman will perform the album in its entirety and tell the stories that brought the album to life. They will also sing some other favorites from their long recording careers.
Much of the coverage of the McGuinn-Hillman-Crosby relationship is relegated to a kind of contrived animation sequence recreating the incident in late 1967 when McGuinn and Hillman drove to Crosby’s house to fire him.
