Tony Maimone (born September 27, 1952) is a bass guitarist, producer, and recording engineer, [1] who lives in Brooklyn, New York. He was a member of Pere Ubu from the mid-1970s to the early 1990s, often playing with the drummer Scott Krauss.
Getting help from a stellar cast of backers — guitarist Tim Foljahn (Two Dollar Guitar), drummer Steve Goulding (the Mekons), and bassist Tony Maimone (They Might Be Giants, Pere Ubu), among others — Reilly hangs her somber ruminations on arrangements that are fragile on the outside, but sturdy on the inside.
