Robert Brunning (29 June 1943 – 18 October 2011) was a British musician who was, as a small part of a long musical career, the original bass guitar player with the blues rock band Fleetwood Mac.
Fleetwood Mac est un groupe de pop - rock britannique originaire de Londres ( Angleterre ). Formé par les guitaristes Peter Green et Jeremy Spencer et le batteur Mick Fleetwood en 1967, le groupe engage un premier bassiste, Bob Brunning, avant l'arrivée de John McVie, qui établit la première formation stable du groupe.
Bob Brunning a répondu à celle-ci et il a été informé qu'ils joueraient au Windsor Jazz & Blues Festival le mois suivant. Green était catégorique sur le recrutement d'un deuxième guitariste dans Fleetwood Mac pour détourner une partie des projecteurs loin de lui.

Original Fleetwood Mac bassist Bob Brunning died on 18 October 2011 at the age of 68. Former guitarist and singer Bob Weston was found dead on 3 January 2012 at the age of 64. Former singer and guitarist Bob Welch was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on 7 June 2012 at the age of 66.

Bob Brunning, a founder member of Fleetwood Mac and a stalwart of the British blues scene for five decades, has died after a heart attack aged 68. Brunning played with the group Savoy Brown and for many years led his own bands, often supporting visiting American musicians, while holding down a day job as a teacher.
