Angus MacLise, né le 14 mars 1938 à Bridgeport ( Connecticut) et mort le 21 juin 1979 à Katmandou, est un percussionniste, compositeur, mystique et poète américain, connu pour avoir été batteur du Velvet Underground lors des premiers mois d'existence du groupe.
Angus MacLise was an American percussionist, composer, poet and occultist who played with the Velvet Underground briefly. He later became a Buddhist monk and a drone musician, and died in Nepal in 1979.
