The Queen's College is a constituent college of the University of Oxford, England. The college was founded in 1341 by Robert de Eglesfield in honour of Philippa of Hainault , queen of England. [3] It is distinguished by its predominantly neoclassical architecture , primarily dating from the 18th century.
The Queen's College, souvent appelé Queen's, est l'un des 39 collèges de l'université d'Oxford au Royaume-Uni. Il a été créé en 1341 par Robert de Eglesfield en l'honneur de la reine Philippa de Hainaut. Il comporte 304 undergraduates et 133 graduates, et est jumelé avec Pembroke College, Cambridge.
The Queen’s College is a close-knit, friendly college located on the High Street in central Oxford. We are able to offer accommodation to undergraduates for all years of their degree, and we boast one of the most beautiful and well-stocked libraries among Oxford colleges.
