Stella Dallas (1937, Barbara Stanwyck) See this Classic Film. Watched this on UK Prime last night. I confess I've never been a huge Barbara Stanwyck fan but she was simply superb in this playing the intriguing title character. Will have to revisit some of her other roles for a bit of reappraisal and proper appreciation.
