28 juil. 2020 · ScarletIceRyu. •. In the epic games launcher, Go to settings, click Throttle Downloads set it to a big number like 100,000. I was getting 0.4 -1 MB's before doing that. Bumped up to 10 MB's after. Thats the only thing I changed. Play around with the number. 200,000 actually gave me worse speed.
19 juin 2024 · Ethernet Cable . "Because it's slow". MB is different to Mb. 1 MB = 8Mb, so you getting 60Mb/s on steam is equivalent to 7.5MB/s on Epic, I.e. it’s not actually slower. Your SSD is definitely not the bottleneck. With speeds like that I’m sceptical that you actually are connected to Ethernet, but unfortunately I can’t really help with ...
5 sept. 2020 · First, I started the download of the game and the 0.00B/s appeared. So i closed the Epic Games Store in the Windows System Tray (the arrow next to the windows clock) and opened it again in administrator mode. Then, I started the download again and it did well (in my case around 10MB/s), but in some cases it can return to the 0.00B/s problem.
14 mai 2021 · Open the epic launcher and make sure the games are working fine. Right click on the game in the taskbar and then open the file location or properties to make sure that the games are running from the new drive. Once you are sure and everything is working fine. Delete the old files and empty your drive. 2.

It’s a safe application that launches games. It’s no different than gog or uplay or steam in that respect, just has less features. Reply reply.
4 déc. 2023 · So on the Epic Games Launcher my download speed is around 600kb/s at best, but It should be way more, like on Steam where my download speed goes up to 50Mo/s. I've tried about anything I found on Internet but nothing changed: - Changing DNS. - Changing Engine.ini parameters.
29 oct. 2020 · On Epic Games, my download is usually anywhere from 0b/s to 2MB/s (and it’s always going up and down). I have slow internet but I can’t imagine that it’s only causing downloads on Epic to be slow. Why are Steam download fine but Epic download extremely slow and inconsistent?
PC - game SotTR - Epic Games I had a similar issue. My games are stored on a separate SSD. I clean installed my OS(win10) then attempted the "verify" process on my game however I was a little off that day with brain fog & deleted the entire SotTR folder.
