I also compared it with color TV, not coloured TV, which further increased the confusion. Being native speakers, you are the best judges, sirs. I take colored/coloured wholeheartedly.

21 mai 2008 · The technical term for the medical condition is, I believe, aphasia (adjective aphasic); in everyday language I think we'd say someone had lost the ability to speak. "Speech-impaired" would work. What I mean is a person who lacks the speaking ability, either due to brain damage or other medical condition.

Dubbio improvviso, ma non ho trovato riscontri in precedenti post: quanto è accettabile il prefisso ne- per creare il termine "neancora", rafforzando il senso negativo di "ancora" in frasi tipo: "Non è neancora arrivato" - "Non l'ho neancora fatto". In questo modo si verrebbe a creare una sorta di doppia negazione.
