28 avr. 2011 · I also own a Heritage 535 with Seth Lovers. This guitar to me is pure traditional blues. I use it for all my blues gigs. It also can do some classic rock. Mostly though I try for a Otis Rush, Hollywood Fats, Magic Sam, early BB King and Freddy King type vibe. Its a very, very fat sounding guitar. Easy playing guitar, tons of sustain as well.
15 juil. 2024 · Tim Lerch has posted a number of demo videos that you might want to check out. I was floored at the versatility of this setup. One of my favorite tones is the neck pickup with some amp gain or a bit of dirt pedal (I like a Timmy). It does a West Coast Blues/Hollywood Fats sort of vibe that sounds great.
5 janv. 2010 · Here's yer "best tele for blues". The neck p.u. is a P90 with magnet poles (covered up with a CC-lookin' piece o' plastic). Very "Fndr-y" sounding. On a similar note, this one plays the blues quite well. That Vintage Vibe P-90 in the neck + a tweed Deluxe amp + reverb = old school '50s Chess blues tone!
1 juin 2022 · They drive an amp really well, with an output roughly that of a P90. Check out the Tim Lerch demos on these pickups. He's primarily a Jazz guy, but dips into the blues frequently. Here's one where he gets dirty with the neck pickup. To my ear it has a real Hollywood Fats kind of vibe.

Spitfire Audio, Orchestral Tools, ProjectSam, Audio Ollie, Performance Samples, CineSamples, Audio Imperia - those are the developers I’d recommend looking at.
