21 avr. 2023 · 1979 – 1987 (8 years) Founded In. Saint Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota, United States. Hüsker Dü was a punk band from Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, active from 1979 to 1987. The band consisted of Bob Mould (guitars, vocals), Greg Norton (bass) and Grant Hart (1961 – 2017) (drums, vocals). Mould and Hart split the song-writing duties.
Plus vite !Hüsker Dü devient très rapidement l’influence prépondérante de la scène de Minneapolis (de Soul Asylum aux Replacements). Son premier album, enregistré en public (Land Speed Record, 1981), nourri de vitesse et de hargne (dix-sept chansons en moins de trente minutes) est enregistré pour 350 dollars, et édité sur le label New Alliance.

Hüsker Dü (which means "Do you remember" in Danish and Norwegian, but is actually spelt without diaereses) mixed pop and punk music and consisted of guitarist/vocalist Bob Mould, bassist Greg Norton and drummer/vocalist Grant Hart.
