17 mai 2013 · CINCINNATI – CSX SD40-2 No. 8888, made famous by a runaway train incident was en route to Huntington, W. Va., rumored to be dismantled. Last week, the locomotive was dead-in-tow on train Q900 between Corbin, Ky., and Cincinnati. CSX spokesman Gary Sease tells Trains News Wire that the company has no comment on the matter.
