Hailing from The Bronx, Robert Mark Kamen possesses a B.A. from New York University and a Ph.D in American Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. He is known for his writing credits on The Transporter , The Fifth Element , The Karate Kid, and many others since the 1980s. Kamen wrote the smash action thriller, Taken, starring Liam Neeson.
