Antwone was born in prison in Ohio to a teenage mother, Eva Mae Fisher. Eva was placed in foster care after the death of her mother when she was thirteen and was incarcerated during her pregnancy. Antwone’s father, Edward Elkins, was shot and killed before he was born. Antwone was made a ward of the state at birth and placed into foster care.
