Tiger Bay (Tapestry) Saint Etienne are British twee-pop royalty at this point, so it’s no surprise that Heavenly Recordings have seen fit to press some of their classic LPs to vinyl once more. Tiger Bay originally dropped in 1994, spawning two UK top-40 singles (and a number one in Lebanon) as well as fan favourite ‘Like A Motorway’.
The third one is very polished, no duds in the bunch, and several great singles. True, the third album has fewer samples, and that is a ding against it. It is still a very good album. For any fan of polished pop/dance music the Tiger Bay is a must. For die-hard fans of Saint Etienne, this extended edition is the way to go.
