Shiv Nadar was born on Saturday, 14 July 1945 ( age 77 years; as of 2022) in Moolaipozhi, Madras Presidency, British India (now Madras State, Tamil Nadu). His zodiac sign is Cancer. In 2008, the SSN trust set up two schools in Uttar Pradesh for rural students. Shiv Nadar was recognised as the 'Most Generous Indian' as he topped the Hurun India Philanthropy list in 2006 for his Rs 630 crore donation.
