Enzan (塩山市, Enzan-shi) was a city located in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. The city was founded on April 5, 1954. As of 2003, the city had an estimated population of 25,856 and the density of 139.96 persons per km 2. The total area was 184.74 km 2.
22 mars 2017 · As you move away from the station area, the rural nature of Enzan becomes more obvious. You will pass bare branched grapevines and peach orchards in bloom. Big old country houses stand surrounded by large food gardens. Spring bulbs bloom under trees and beside walls.
Attached to the Omote Ginza Long-traverse Course, the most popular course in the Northern Alps, is a hut built on the ridgeline that climbs up the Kassen-o’ne of one of the three major steep climbs. About 1 century since its opening in 1921, it is one of the most prestigious mountain huts in the Japan Alps.
