Omar Nelson Bradley, né le 12 février 1893 à Clark ( Missouri) et mort le 8 avril 1981 à New York, est un militaire et général cinq étoiles américain. Il a été l'un des principaux chefs de l' armée américaine sur les théâtres nord-africain et européen au cours de la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
Omar Nelson Bradley (February 12, 1893 – April 8, 1981) was a senior officer of the United States Army during and after World War II, rising to the rank of General of the Army. He was the first chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and oversaw the U.S. military's policy-making in the Korean War.
Bradley est un officier supérieur très apprécié par ses collègues, autant les officiers que les hommes du rang. Ainsi devient-il en 1949 le premier président des chefs d’Etat-major. A la fin de sa carrière, en 1950, il est nommé général de l’armée américaine.
