Andy Scott remplace le guitariste Mick Stewart en 1970. C'est la forme définitive du groupe, qui se rebaptise Sweet à partir de 1974 sur les albums et 1975 pour les singles. Cette composition Connolly, Priest, Scott et Tucker durera jusqu'au départ de Brian Connolly en 1979.
