  2. The Stanway School is a mixed secondary school located in Stanway in the English county of Essex. [1] The school was converted to academy status in May 2013, and used to be a community school under the direct control of Essex County Council.

  4. Students study a wide range of subjects across KS3 and receive relevant and appropriate careers advice before choosing four options to take through to KS4. Throughout the school, students in all years receive Religious Education, Citizenship and Core PE lessons without terminal examinations.

  5. The Stanway School is a happy school with students who respond to our high academic, cultural and sporting expectations. Our excellent accommodation and resources help us to ensure that these expectations are met. In May 2013, Ofsted rated the school as a ‘good’ school.
