The NASA Scientific Visualization Studio works closely with scientists in the creation of visualizations, animations, and images in order to promote a greater understanding of Earth and Space Science research activities at NASA and within the academic research community supported by NASA.
This interactive data visualization accompanies the Nature Expert Recommendation on “Visualizing big science projects” The visualization uses the UCSD Map of Science and Classification System computed using 2006–2008 data from Scopus and 2005–2010 data from the Web of Science ( 1 ).
