I was told by MS that after spending cumerlative spend totalling £100 that I would not get cash back or refunded to my MS credit card. It will be in the form of a voucher that can only be spent at MS.

15 août 2011 · Cash in lieu is just that, a cash settlement rather than having the repairs done. It is ultimately a negotiated figure between you and the insurer (or via your solicitors if you have them involved and its the TPI thats inspected it) but typically it excludes VAT and an additional amount off to encourage you to go through the repairers. ».
19 nov. 2013 · I rang Santander and the guy that took the call said no-one had ever asked this question before, and he didn't seem at all confident about it, first of all telling me that tax had already been deducted, then that the payment was an 'award' and therefore not taxable. If tax HAS been deducted at source, could I claim it back? (as a non-taxpayer).

However, I disputed it and finally got my account credited. I was lucky the bank staff were honest at the atm point. I think your bank staff have gone to the pub with your £70.
7 oct. 2022 · My cash back with Nationwide was also paid not long after my first mortgage payment was taken out. £500 for my first one and 3 x £250 as I switched products with them to cheaper rates (joys of trackers) and didn't realise at the time I'd also get cash back with those, so I got over £1k in cash back from them in a year of having my mortgage.

29 nov. 2010 · CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS BEFORE LEAVING THE CHECK-OUT. I bought a bunch of stuff, over £150, & I glanced at my receipt as the cashier was handing me the bags. I saw a cash-back of £40. I told her I didn't request a cash back & to delete it. She said I'd have to take the £40 because she couldn't delete it.
