Ce pont en arc en acier a une longueur de 220 mètres sur une largeur de 30 mètres. Il relie la rue Maurice Bourder à la rue Linois. Il prend aussi appui sur l’ile aux Cygnes. Le nom de Grenelle correspond à la plain qui portait ce nom et qui fût annexée par Paris en 1860.

Nous sommes entre le XVe et le XVIe arrondissements… au bout de l‘île aux Cygnes. Devant le pont, se dresse fièrement et en direction de l’Amérique, la copie de la Statue de la Liberté.
