Ángela Gurría Davó (Ciudad de México, 24 de marzo de 1929-17 de febrero de 2023) [1] fue una escultora mexicana y la primera mujer en convertirse en miembro de la Academia de Artes de México en 1973. [2] En 2013 ganó el Premio Nacional de Ciencias y Artes en el área de Bellas Artes de su país.
Ángela Gurría Davó (24 March 1929 – 17 February 2023) was a Mexican sculptor. In 1974, she became the first female member of the Academia de Artes. She is best known for her monumental sculptures such as Señal, an eighteen-meter tall work created for the 1968 Summer Olympics.
