Alfons Maria Jakob, né le 2 juillet 1884 à Aschaffenbourg en royaume de Bavière et mort le 17 octobre 1931 à Hambourg, est un neurologue allemand, à l'origine de la découverte de la maladie de Creutzfeldt-Jakob.
Alfons Maria Jakob (2 July 1884 – 17 October 1931) was a German neurologist who worked in the field of neuropathology. He was born in Aschaffenburg, Bavaria and educated in medicine at the universities of Munich, Berlin, and Strasbourg, where he received his doctorate in 1908.
Alfons Maria JAKOB se spécialisa en neuropsychiatrie et bénéficia comme Creutzfeldt, des avis éclairés de Alois Alzheimer. Dans trois articles publiés en 1921 et 1923, Jakob décrivit le cas de cinq malades et nota la ressemblance entre les cas décrits et celui de Berta E., étudiés par Creutzfeldt.
