Zhang Boli ( simplified Chinese: 张伯笠; traditional Chinese: 張伯笠; pinyin: Zhāng Bólì, born 1959) is a Chinese dissident. Biography. Zhang Boli was born in Wangkui County, Heilongjiang Province. He worked as a journalist after graduating from a three-year college in Heilongjiang Province.
Zhang Boli (Chinese: 张伯礼, born 26 February 1948) is a Chinese physician. He is honorary president of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Zhang is also a delegate to the 11th, 12th, and 13th National People's Congress.

Zhang Boli was a student leader and a Communist Party member in the 1989 democracy movement in China. He escaped to the U.S. in 1991 and became a pastor and a community organizer for Chinese students and scholars.
