Harrison Hagan Schmitt, né le 3 juillet 1935 à Santa Rita au Nouveau-Mexique, est un géologue, astronaute et sénateur américain. Il fut le douzième et dernier homme [Note 1] et le seul scientifique à poser le pied sur la Lune, lors de la mission Apollo 17 en décembre 1972.
