Louis C. Miriani (January 1, 1897 – October 18, 1987) was an American politician who served as the mayor of Detroit, Michigan, from 1957 to 1962. To date, he remains the most recent Republican to serve as Detroit's mayor.
21 oct. 1987 · Louis C. Miriani, who expanded urban renewal and construction programs as Mayor of Detroit from 1957 to 1961, died Sunday at a hospital in Pontiac after a long illness. He was 90 years old.
Dr Miriani provides services as an Aviation Medical Examiner to assist airmen in obtaining their medical certificates. He is an aviation medical advisor to several major U.S. Air carries and several corporate flight departments.
