Joseph Goebbels ( prononcé en allemand : [ˈɡœbəls] ), né le 29 octobre 1897 à Rheydt 1 et mort par suicide le 1er mai 1945 à Berlin, est un homme d'État criminel nazi allemand. Proche d' Adolf Hitler, il fut, avec Hermann Göring et Heinrich Himmler, l'un des dirigeants les plus puissants et influents du Troisième Reich .
