New York Dolls est un groupe américain de rock, originaire de New York. Avec The Stooges, ils sont l'un des premiers groupes de punk rock 2. Il est d'abord formé en 1971 et dissout en 1977. En 1975, Thunders et Nolan quittent le groupe pour former The Heartbreakers. Le groupe se réunit de nouveau en 2004 et se sépare encore en 2011.
