The Three-Legged Fox | Der Fuchs mit drei Pfoten. Kinderfilmfest / 14plus 2004. Naples in the year 1956. In a city still heavily marked by the war, all anybody wants is a better future, a job, enough to eat and a place to live. Eleven-year-old Vittorio lives in a camp at Canzanella, where he leads a life of hardship and sacrifice.
The bombs have left a virtual army of displaced people living in precarious conditions. The liberation has left the Americans: a majestic fleet at anchor, the impeccably-dressed officers, the rumbling jeeps and soldiers who want for nothing. In this mist, a destitute young boy believes he has become friends with the movie star of his dreams.
