Lionel Jay Stander (January 11, 1908 – November 30, 1994) was an American actor, activist, and a founding member of the Screen Actors Guild. He had an extensive career in theatre, film, radio, and television that spanned nearly 70 years, from 1928 until 1994.
Lionel Stander était un acteur américain célèbre pour son rôle de Max dans la série télévisée Hart to Hart. Il a été marié six fois, a eu six filles, et a reçu une étoile sur le Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Lionel Stander was a movie and TV actor with a distinctive voice and a history of supporting left-wing causes. He was subpoenaed by HUAC in 1940 and 1953, and denied work in Hollywood for years after being exposed as a Communist Party member.
