10 sept. 2018 · Le label lisboète dévoile ‘Siena’, le premier morceau du LP intitulé Apologia. Ce vendredi sort le premier album de Niagara. Après avoir délivré une dizaine de singles et EP sur Príncipe et leur propre label, Ascender, le trio portugais prend un nouveau virage stylistique avec ce projet.
One of the Portuguese label's most diverse releases yet. With their striking, hand-painted sleeves and spiky, revelatory takes on African-rooted rhythms like kuduro, tarraxo and kizomba, Príncipe Discos took the ghetto sound of Lisbon and amplified it worldwide.

Portugal’s Niagara have always been pretty out there, exploring deep uncharted realms of post-punk dub, homespun electronica and colorful noise, but Apologia, their first vinyl full-length, really pushes limits.
