In May 2013 Kutless posted on social media that bassist Dave Luetkenhoelter had decided to leave the band. Their former merchandise manager Neal Cameron became the new bass player of Kutless in April 2014. Kutless released Glory, their eighth full-length album, on BEC records in February 2014.

Dave Luetkenhoelter and Jeffrey Gilbert joined Kutless, filling in the positions of bassist and drummer, respectively. Seven Places disbanded shortly after the release of "Hear Us Say Jesus" in 2004, but a new 11-track album entitled "Glowing" was released on June 26, 2007, by BEC Recordings .
In 2004, after releasing its second album Sea of Faces, Kutless embarked on its first of many headlining tours with frontman Jon Micah Sumrall, lead guitarist James Mead, guitarist Ryan Shrout, bassist Dave Luetkenhoelter and drummer Jeffrey Gilbert.
